Journal of Education for Life [JEL] was started to be published in 1986 by Kultur Educational Institutions and has served as a popular journal for primary and secondary school students and parents. From 2015, Journal of Education for life [JEL] is to be an double-blind peer review academic, scientific journal administered by the Faculty of Education of the Istanbul Kultur University.

Journal of Education for Life [JEL] aims to contribute to the knowledge base of educational science by linking theory and practice. For this purpose, it publishes studies which are carried out by using qualitative or quantitative methods in various fields of education.

The main purpose of the Journal of Education for Life [JEL] can be expressed as increasing the quality by contributing to the improvement of processes and outputs in preschool, primary education, secondary education, higher education and adult education.
