Our primary objective at the Kültür Ataköy Anaokulu is to educate conscious individuals who have developed themselves in terms of physical, mental, social and language skills; who questions, researches and who are confident.

High Scope, Gems Science and Mathematics Program and Project-Based Education model is implemented in a holistic manner at our kindergartens in line with this objective.


The High Score educational system is one of the contemporary methods applied at Kültür Anaokulu (Kindergarten). The aim of this system is to educate individuals who are creative, sociable, inquisitive, open to knowledge and the opinions of others and compatible with the contemporary age. The environments are created for the students to make choices, give decisions and realize their decisions. The program is based on active learning. Children get direct and immediate experiences and derive meaning from these experiences. Teachers support the students through their active learning styles and experiences and provide guidance to them.


Gems activities explain basic scientific concepts and methods to children and also affect their imagination. Children explore information at an early age and learn the ways to reach it. In this program, children are taught various subjects that interest them. Active involvement of children is ensured and active learning is realized.

In the Gems Science and Mathematics Program, in terms of science course, such abilities as systematic observation, analysis and research, versatile questioning are acquired by students. Also students are provided such abilities as making a comparison, logical, systematic thinking, organizing data and drawing conclusions. They are taught the characteristics of living things, their life cycle, reproduction, and growth, changes in life,  objects, nature and physical conditions through using all their five senses. They do observations, analysis and research. They collect data to answer questions.

Through the entertaining activities within the Gems Science Program, students are ensured to take the first step for the interest in science and mathematics and scientific thinking. Active involvement of children is ensured and active learning is realized.


Project approach is one of the new approaches developed in the field of education. Its basis is on the “nature of the child”, a child-centered educational program and landscaping. The objective of this approach is to ensure the students study the subject as individually or as a project and link the learning and make learning more realistic and meaningful. The project activities enable students to create their own questions, look for answers, to be able to use the acquired skills, to recognize their aspects, to encourage them to work in a stable manner. Teachers discuss issues with children and help to reveal their past experiences. In the next phase, children work in cooperation individually or in small groups according to their level of development and participate in the project. While looking for the answers of the questions, children ask new questions and so, children's mental development is supported in order to develop and increase children's interest.Next, the teachers support children to internalize the new information through art, stories and drama. At the end of the process, children are able to rewiev and tell the story of the project and present their own.
