Starting with human presence and reached to the present day; research studies started with a curiosity that led people into carrying out research and has became one of the biggest factors that triggers learning. Observing the World we live in since the evolution process and investigating the mysterious events to find a meaning are completely the results the sense of wonder. Today, all the inventions we use are the products of people who made observing curiously and wanted to add a scientific meaning to the facts.

Mankind’s universe, the nature we live in and the process of understanding blended with a curiosity which enabled to get technological information and played an important role in the development of sciences will help people to get new information and produce new inventions in the future. Understanding process of environment, nature, and the events will continue as long as we are there.

Kultur Science High School constituted by Physics, Chemistry and Biology fields motives the students who are in the process of physical and mental development to have imagination, creativity, the sense of realization,  and necessary equipment to ask the right questions with the aim of generating contemporary World citizens. In this context, in the way of providing scientific thinking skills aquisition based on STEM, our structuring always remain active to accommodate the changing and developing curriculum. The scientific clubs have been opened this education and training year like ‘’robotic, arduıno, web 2.0, game programming, the mysterious World of DNA’’ and the curricular – extra curricular laboratory studies are carrying out by enriching. At the same time, these studies are being updated by receiving the previous year’s feedbacks. In addition, YGS-LYS studies of 11th and 12th graders are carried on with a great dedication including the weekend.

Emphasising on interdisciplinary studies, the Science department makes plan considering each detail of the road map which was prepared at the beginning of the education and training year.

Kultur Science High School, Department Of Science aims to educate students who are not afraid of making mistakes, and have the ability of creating solutions by looking at the events many-sided.

 

Department Acquisitions:

·    As individual or as a group, students can design a scientific experiment and apply it.

·    Students can use experimental equipments effectively.

·    Students can carry out a project at the level of participating in national and international competitions at scientific platforms.

·     In accordance with science education, students can create problems and produce solutions.

·     With the help of Science Project work (Physics-Chemistry-Biology) students gain the ability to research, compilation and presenting the subject by joining the national and international competitions.

·    Students can take a place in social responsibility projects effectively.

·    Students become high eco-sensivity individuals.

·     Students know the scientists and assimilate them.

·     Students attend scentific tours.

·     Students can associate results of scientific tours with the curriculum topics.

·    Applying the understanding of the model in education, we provide the success of our students, the happiness of our employees, and the satisfaction of the parents .

·     YGS-LYS studies, pilot tests, individual study and surveying programs are scheduled.

·     Project groups are created to join national and international science project competitions.
